The production of waste is a fact of life.
The waste you produce places you in a position of “Duty of Care” which is a legal obligation which applies to everyone included in the management and disposal of the waste. You have to be sure that the person / company charged with receiving and/or disposing of your waste is legally permitted to do so. This is done by a duty of care audit.
You are responsible for the safe and legal disposal of waste you produce
If it is not disposed of in this manner you can be prosecuted. Heavy fines exist for those who do not dispose of waste legally and/or safely. It is your duty of care to ensure you dispose of your waste, legally, responsibly and efficiently.
